HOTEL LUXURY

Surround yourself with luxury each time you slip into one of our beds! All of our beds are covered with luxurious white bedding, white duvet and duvet covers. Our brand new, hotel quality mattresses are top of the line and meticulously maintained.

Oh..and don't worry about not liking your pillow. Whether you like soft or firm we've got you covered.

Our washrooms have the most incredible white, oversized towels and are stocked with travel kits that include a starter shampoo, conditioner, lotion, face soap and hand soap....just in case;)

This spacious basement has double doors leading out to the backyard and waterfront! With a large sectional, tv, indoor and outdoors games a card table and more this is the perfect place to relax when you need some ‘downtime’ from the sun!

THE BACKYARD

There is plenty of space surrounding this 2 acres property. The backyard has plenty of grassy area to play lawn games before you reach the steps down to the beach and lake! At night you can enjoy a fire and s'.mores by our backyard fire pit...mmmmm s'mores! At the front of the house there is a ninja ropes coarse for the kids to enjoy! It really doesn't get better than this.

ABOUT OUR WATERS

Forest Lake Retreat is located right at the junction of The South River and Forest Lake providing our guests with 2 different and unique experiences on the water. Paddling up the South River with the Algonquin landscape surrounding you is a truly magical and serene experience. Heading out to explore the waters of Forest Lake is a perfect way to spend a sunny summer day (insert sigh). To experience a taste of Forest Lake and The South River head over to the ‘about our waters’ highlight on our Instagram page. Our guests are provided with 1 16ft canoe and 3 adult kayaks to use during their stay. We have both adult and youth life jackets for our guests to use. If your group includes small children or babies please bring those jackets with you.

We absolutely love our fur babies and couldn't imagine leaving them behind when visiting the cottage. Forest Lake Retreat welcomes up to 2 well behaved dogs at the cottage.
